Hello all Sorry this is such short notice but please would you pray for Andrew tomorrow morning as he is speaking at Bethel (last week there were about 200 there) He's quite confident about what he's chosen to speak on and isn't feeling worried or nervous - you know Andrew!! But, I just thought a few extra prayers can only be helpful. He had chosen a few songs so asked who was chairing and was was told "it's usually sorted on the morning but as you've chosen the songs you may as well chair too".
We've had a lot of very heavy storms and much rain recently which has hit the electricity supply often. We had no electric when we woke this morning and it came on during the afternoon. The main generator is out of action and needs a new water pump (which we hope Mark C will be able to bring out when he comes in a few weeks). The standby small generator was hit by lightning last week so if there's no Zesco school has no electric. A few of the volunteers computers were fried by the lightning as well as the new dorm staff's TV. Apart from a couple of bulbs blown a few weeks ago, we praise God, we've had nothing more struck. The school' s internet power supply was also hit again and isn't yet fixed so we are relying on our plug in modem to send emails - we just have to make sure we have enough credit or top up cards! I did manage to get the world service on the radio today for the football scores and am aware NCFC are now 7 points clear!! We've also discovered that our tinyworld email account has been disabled. Not sure why and haven't found a way of contacting them yet to find out why. So our only email contact address is now thekirks@amanocs.org Please ask Nigel to put this info about the email account on the website so people know not to use tinyworld anymore.> Think about you all often With love Amanda Andrew Samuel and Joseph
Special collections for The Kirks in our Sunday service will be on the following dates : 4th April 2010 6th June 2010
